Helpful Exam Tips
Exam season is stressful for all students so be as prepared as you can. This page will provide tips and tricks to make your exam experience better.
Try to study alone as much as possible as study sessions often turn into chat sessions. If you do study with friends, make sure they help you and not distract you!
Take regular breaks!
If you study for too long in one sitting you'll burn out. Try studying for an hour and taking a 15-minute break and repeat this throughout the day. You will get more out of your studying!
Aim to have your revision done by the evening so you can get enough sleep during the night. Aim for at least 8 hours to ensure you can study effectively.
Have a study plan!
Organise a weekly timetable for what you aim to study each day and at what time. Having a plan allows you to have direction in your study but this will only work if you stick to it!
Set goals and targets!
Have goals of what you want to achieve in each session and write them down as a list. Ticking them off as you go will give you a sense of achievement and make you feel like you are progressing!
Ask for help.
Don't be afraid to ask for help. You can ask your parents, friends, teachers or me for help in understanding.
